The Imperial Flag

The Flag represents the Empire itself. The three colors of Natopia are arranged to mirror the Cross of Sovereignty, the citizens, protected by the government, attaining the Principles of Natopia. The colors are arranged in an arrow, pointing right, on a field of black, symbolizing the uncertainty of the future. The blue and green stripes on the right edge symbolize eventual recognized independence of Natopia.

The Imperial Seal

The Seal is the symbol of the sovereignty of the Sovereign Natopian Empire.  It represents the power of the
Emperor to protect the four Principles of Natopia, represented by the four blue bars.  These Principles are peace, liberty, unity, and abundance.  The Imperial Seal is also known as the Cross of Sovereignty.  The main green cross represents His Sovereign Majesty's government.  The central purple circle symbolizes the citizens.  The green cross surrounds the purple circle and connects the circle to the blue bars.  This represents how the government protects the citizens so it may give them the four Principles.

National Anthem

"O Great Nation"
by HSM Nathan Shepard

to the tune of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy"

O Great Nation, My Great Nation, pleas for peace and sovereignty.
Devote your life to our Great Strife while singing of hope and peace.
All of us will put our trust into the Nation we hold dear.
O Great Nation, My Great Nation, pleas for peace and sovereignty.

Dear Empire, O
Empire, hear our cries for truth and love.
Unite the Earth in one Great Berth under the
Empire's rule.
Make this world for young and old a place to live a worthy life.
Dear
Empire, O Empire, hear our cries for truth and love.

Our Emperor, O
Emperor, protect the Nation from all.
Defend our Rights with all your Mights so that we all may prosper.
Serve with valor and with candor to attain the goal we seek.
Our
Emperor, O Emperor, protect the Nation from all.

The Crown Jewels

Relatively new symbols of Natopia, the Imperial Crown Jewels were commissioned for and used at King Nathan I's Coronation on July 31, 2005.  The Imperial State Crown is used in the traditional coronation of Natopian monarchs and also represents the monarch him or herself.  The Crown is made of platinum and encrusted with emeralds, amethysts, blue saphires, pearls, and covered with green velvet.  The most senior Knight of the Black Hole crowns the Emperor at their coronation.

The Imperial Scepter is the traditional symbol of a monarch's right to rule, and so is the case in Natopia's new royal tradition.  The Flower of Natopia, a non-specific symbol designed by Emperor Nathan  himself, adorns the top of the Scepter, with the Cross of Sovereignty set below.

The Sword of Sovereignty is in the shape of the Cross of Sovereignty, with the arms of the Cross elongated to provide for a handle and hand guards as well as the steel, silver-coated, blade.  The Sword is used in inducting members into chivilric Orders or when the monarch feels that any special honor, knighthood or otherwise, deserves such grand treatment.  The Sword is kept sharp to show that those who are accepting the honors from the monarch are loyal to the monarch.
